Room 6 Newsletter Term 4
Welcome
back to Term 4 Room 6 Families
Theme
This
Term our theme is ‘Ecosystems’. We will be focusing on key questions such as:
ü What is an eco-system?
ü Why is the habitat important for
specific living things to function?
ü How do specific things stay alive in
their eco-system?
ü How have environments been effected
by people?
As
a senior syndicate we are discussing the idea of going on a field trip to
Pukaha. Further information about this decision will be shared as soon as
possible.
This
term our focus in Room 6 is to make sure that we are achieving the national
standards expectations expected for our year levels. Multiple students have
already excelled with their learning and this is a credit to the hard work that
they have put in this year.
Pet
Day
Next
Friday 25th October is Pet day. Room 6 welcomes all family members
including grandparents to come along and join in during Pet day.
Homework
Homework
will begin as normal next week. Students will receive Reading and Spelling. During
the week students may be sent home individual mathematics work to complete
around learning in the classroom.
